• Life Cycle needs to run in the background to be able to record your data. It only uses 1% of your battery per day when doing so.
• You need to carry your phone with you, for Life Cycle to accurately record and interpret your activities.
• Wi-Fi should be enabled on your phone for tracking to work.

Pros and cons of Life Cycle - Track Your Time app for iPhone and iPad
Life Cycle - Track Your Time app good for
Has potential, together with sleep cycle it really gives me a nice overview of what my days look like. Looking forward to further updates and new features!
I check the app every day and have gotten some great insights about my life.
It would be great to manually add different activities for a certain time. E.g. I exercise at home, which isnt recognized by the app.
Secondly, I would like to define areas as activities. E.g. if I go for a walk in a park, it should tell me walk in park for xyz minutes.
Simply carry your phone with you and sometimes add so far unknown information about locations and doings. The result: absolute interesting statistical information about your days, weeks, months, and years.
A very cool app, fun to see the graphs. Wish I didnt have to pay like $3 though.
Gives a great snapshot of everything you do and where you go. One improvement I would suggest is the possible option to track what you are doing while you are home for instance - perhaps an option you can choose to clarify every hour etc what you are doing ie housework, reading or whatever
Ive been using the app for about a month and I like the overview it gives of how I spend my time. I would like to see a little more detail, like when Im at home I can log when Im reading, playing video games, or cleaning. That kind of thing would be cool. But I love the app overall!
Some bad moments
My gym is right across the street. Yeah. It is really near. So I tried to took around the road so maybe the app could track I have been different places. But however I try , it doesnt work !!!!!!
So either seven hours I have been home or seven hours in gym !
Not good !!!!!!!!!! And I have checked my gps worked just fine !
Since the last update the app dont know anymore when Im home or when Im at work.
Correct this again and than are the 5 Stars back from me.
I thought it was an interesting idea so I gave it a shot, but there are a few problems with this app that make it essentially useless. Serious lack of icons for activities, not to mention the defaults are also pretty sparse. Also it seems to have a really hard time associating obvious activities and misses large swathes of location data. For a paid app, dont waste your time. They need to make this free for a period, collect some user data, and retool.
This app isnt my favorite when it comes to charting my life. I love Sleep Cycle, but Life Cycle is anything like it. I like the fact that it tracks my moves, so I can see how long Ive been at my house, or at work, or how long it took me to commute to home/work.
On the other hand, what I really dislike about this app is the fact that it guesses what you are doing. Havent touched your phone for a hour or two because you decided to spend some quality time with your boyfriend ? It decides youre asleep. And theres nothing you can do to change it. Youre taking a nap? It doesnt show in the app, and you cant add it. The app guessed you took your car to go to work but you decided to walk, theres no way you can change it. Im disapointed with this app. Ill continue to use Sleep Cycle, but Im done with Life Cycle.
For those who work from home, or stay at home during the day, this app is not for you. It is not flexible enough to detect or allow input showing youre working or doing housework or spending quality time with a loved one. Definitely not worth the $3 it costs.
Ive had the app for over a week and not once has it shown me anything. It says it has nothing to analyze and I should take my phone with me, but I do. I dont get it, its always telling me to come back in 24hrs. Disappointing.
